In practical terms, these materials are heated to very high temperatures, in the absence of oxygen, which prevents them from being burnt but allows them to be transformed into a gas (called syngas). <\/p>\n\n<p>This syngas can then be :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Used to produce heat or green electricity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Injected into existing gas networks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Used for its molecules of interest (hydrogen, biomethane, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or used <strong>directly <\/strong><strong>in energy-intensive industrial processes<\/strong> (such as glassmaking, metallurgy or cement)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Pyrogasification has<strong> three advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It recovers waste <strong>locally<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It produces <strong>low-carbon energy that is stable and available 24 hours a day<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And it helps to <strong>make local areas more energy self-sufficient.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A practical response to the climate emergency<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Against a backdrop of <strong>rising energy prices<\/strong>, <strong>geopolitical tensions<\/strong> and <strong>ambitious climate targets<\/strong>, France needs to accelerate the development of low-carbon, local solutions. While solar and wind power play an important role, their production remains intermittent and requires complementary solutions to guarantee grid stability. <\/p>\n\n<p>This is precisely what pyrogasification offers: <strong>controllable production of renewable energy<\/strong>, capable of operating <strong>continuously<\/strong>, all year round, whatever the climatic conditions.
