What is pyrogasification?
Pyrogasification is a thermochemical process that produces a renewable gas, called syngas, from solid organic matter (wood, agricultural residues, sewage sludge, industrial waste, etc.). In practical terms, these materials are heated to very high temperatures, in the absence of oxygen, which prevents them from being burnt but allows them to be transformed into a gas (called syngas).
This syngas can then be :
